About Citi on Campus

THE PROBLEM: 

Today’s job market has a candidate’s market with low unemployment rates, a boom in tech hiring, new tech standards for recruiting (i.e. one-stop shop tools), and a move towards the “mobile revolution” landscape.

In the face of the current challenging employment landscape, how might Citi best attract strong student candidates for their early career opportunities and what role can the Citi on Campus app play in that endeavor?

THE SOLUTION:
Carla @ Citi is a chatbot that creates an authentic, personal connection with students during the Citi recruiting process. Students are introduced to Carla after onboarding questions. Carla then acts as a job matcher and tour guide through the Citi on Campus app for the student. Further, Carla will match students to employees with similar backgrounds and create a connection for an informal networking environment. We foresee Carla @ Citi eventually becoming the app.
