We all strive to be Agile. Lean. Kanban. Scrum. Anything but, God forbid, Waterfall. However, we all learn that being truly Agile is hard to achieve. Scrum, even more impossible to attain. But wait, what exactly is Scrum?
“Scrum is a framework within which people can address complex adaptive problems, while productively and creatively delivering products of the highest possible value.”
Scrum is a framework, which allows us to work within the bounds of its empiricism. A Scrum Team is comprised of a Scrum Master, Development Team, and Product Owner. A UX professional or designer is not mentioned by the Scrum guide. But this doesn’t mean that there isn’t room for UX.
In fact, because Scrum’s goal is to deliver products of the highest value, the entire Scrum team is accountable for the best product experience. The Scrum Team as a whole is responsible for UX.
